چکیده

The efficacy of traditional control measures for the management plant pathogens is decreasing, and resistance these to pesticides increasing, which poses a serious threat global food security. exploration novel efficient combat disease an urgent need at this time. In study, fungal metabolites from three Trichoderma spp. (T. harzianum, T. virens koningii) were prepared on different growth media (STP, MOF supermalt (SuM)). tested in vitro vivo March–April 2020 under greenhouse conditions pot experiment utilizing completely randomized design test their bacterial wilt caused by R. solanacearum tomato plants. effect cell morphology was also investigated through scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. investigation showed that harzianum obtained STP medium most effective inhibiting produced 17.6 mm inhibition zone. SEM analysis confirms rupture walls membranes bacterium, along with leakage its contents. Generally, higher activity than those other two media, then evaluated according application times (0 days before transplantation (DBT), 4 DBT 8 DBT) trial examine ability manage Consistent results, results studies level anti-bacterial they did fungi, while among times, longest time (8 more controlling Metabolites applied maximum decrease soil population (1.526 log cfu/g), resulting lowest severity (area progressive curve (AUDPC) value: 400), freshness (with biomass 36.7 g, root length 18.3 cm height 33.0 cm). It can be concluded medium, when after DBT, suppress enhance growth, thus used as safe, environmentally-conscious consumer-friendly approach managing plants possibly crops.

Transcriptional Responses of Arabidopsis thaliana during Wilt Disease Caused by the Soil-Borne Phytopathogenic Bacterium, Ralstonia solanacearum

Bacterial wilt is a common disease that causes severe yield and quality losses in many plants. In the present study, we used the model Ralstonia solanacearum-Arabidopsis thaliana pathosystem to study transcriptional changes associated with wilt disease development. Susceptible Col-5 plants and RRS1-R-containing resistant Nd-1 plants were root-inoculated with R. solanacearum strains harbouring o...
